FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT IS SUBLIMATION?
Sublimation by definition is the process of a solid substance transitioning to a gas state without passing through the liquid phase. This is exactly how sublimation works. The ink that I use when heated transfers to the polyester that is on the product. The ink becomes a permanent part of the fabric. This means a sublimated garment will not crack or peel like vinyl or screen print because of the way it binds to the polyester.
CAN I SEND MY OWN IMAGES OR DESIGNS?
YES! I love to take your custom photos and put them on keepsakes for you, your friends, and your family. The best file types for the programs I utilize are .png or .svg. I can also use .jpg or .pdf as necessary. Send your images to kreatebykate@gmail.com.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
Custom orders are non-refundable. With all custom orders, I send mock-ups so that errors can be caught prior to printing.

In-stock items may be returned or exchanged. If items must be shipped, the shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
HOW DO I PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER?
In order to ensure that I can meet your custom needs, please reach out to me via email or fill out the Contact Kate form. Anything you see on this page can be customized to fit your needs. I don't yet have photo slates, etched glass, photo coasters, or any wood décor on the site yet, but all of those are also options for customization. Don't be afraid to reach out, worst case scenario is I'm not able to meet your needs, but may be able to connect you with someone that can!
